PUPPET RUNNER is Dr. R. Andrew Strickland, a theatre director and educator, who has been an avid distance runner for 20 years. He is a member of both the Marathon Maniacs and Half Fanatics and is the co-founder/race director of the infamous Make It By Midnight Marathon (currently on extended hiatus) in Macon, Georgia. When not running, he is the Director of Fine Arts and a theatre/dance teacher at First Presbyterian Day School, also in Macon. He and his wife Janet are the proud parents of two boys and numerous puppets. Dr. Strickland is also a member of Puppeteers of America.
